Assam Public Service Commission invites application from Indian Citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India for the under-mentioned posts under Assam Government of the scale of pay as indicated below and carrying usual allowances as admissible under Rules of the Govt. of Assam.

(A) 1. Name of post: Lecturer in Painting

No. of posts: 3 (UR-2, OBC/MOBC-1)
Essential Qualification: At least 55% marks in MFA (painting) from a recognized University as per the norms of Guwahati University/UGC. Preference will be given to those who have qualified in UGC/NET or equivalent exam.
2. Name of post: Lecturer in Graphics

No. of posts: 2 (UR-1, OBC/MOBC-1)
Essential Qualification: At least 55% marks in MFA (Graphics) from a recognized University as per the norms of Guwahati University/UGC. Preference will be given to those who have qualified in UGC/NET or equivalent exam.
3. Name of post: Lecturer in Applied Art

No. of posts: 1 (OBC/MOBC-1)
Essential Qualification: At least 55% marks in MFA (Applied Art) from a recognized University as per the norms of Guwahati University/UGC. Preference will be given to those who have qualified in UGC/NET or equivalent exam.
4. Name of post: Lecturer in History of Art

No. of posts: 1 (OBC/MOBC-1)
Essential Qualification: At least 55% marks in MFA (History of Art) from a recognized University as per the norms of Guwahati University/UGC. Preference will be given to those who have qualified in UGC/NET or equivalent exam.

Age: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01-01-2019.
(B) 1. Name of the Post: Law Assistant to Legal Remembrance & Under Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, Judicial Department.

No. of post: 1 (one) (UR)
Scale of Pay: P.B.-4 Rs.30,000/- 1,10,000/- p.m. Plus grade pay of Rs.12,700/- p.m. and other allowances as per Rules of the Govt.
Qualification:-

(i) An Advocate enrolled under the Advocates Act 1961 who has been practicing as such for at least three (3) years; or

(ii) A Judicial of at least 3 (three) years standing; or

(iii) A Chief Language Officer of the Legislative Department holding a degree in Law and having 3 years experience as such officer or with 2 (two) years experience as such officer if he has previous experience as an Advocate for at least 3 (three) years; or

(iv) A Language Officer of the Legislative Department holding a Degree in Law and having 5 (five) years experience as such officer or 2 (two) years experience as Language Officer if he has previous experience as an advocate for at least 4 (four) years.

Age: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01-01-2019.

(C) 1. Name of post: Junior Legislative Counsel & Under Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, Legislative Department.

No. of post: 1 (one) (UR)
Scale of Pay: P.B.-4 Rs.30,000/- 1,10,000/- p.m. Plus grade pay of Rs.12,700/- p.m. and other allowance as per Rules of the Govt.
Qualification:-

(i) A Advocate enrolled under the Advocates Act 1961 who has been practicing as such for a least three (3) years; or

(ii) A Judicial of at least 3 (three) years standing; or

(iii) A Chief Language Officer of the Legislative Department holding a degree in Law and having 3 years experience as such officer or with 2 (two) years experience as such officer if he has previous experience as an Advocate for at least 2 (two) years; or

(iv) A Language Officer of the Legislative Department holding a Degree in Law and having 5 (five) years experience as such officer or 2 (two) years experience as Language Officer if he has previous experience as an Advocate for at least 4 (four) years.

Age: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 year of age as on 01-01-2019.
