Salary:
- Pay Scale: PB-3, ₹10,230 – ₹34,800/-
- Grade Pay: ₹4,400/-
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Travel/Tourism Management or Tourism Administration from a recognized university
- Must possess a Permanent Resident Certificate of Tripura
Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of Bengali or Kokborok language
Age Limit
- 21 to 40 years (as on 18 April 2026)
- Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/PwD/Government employees.

- MCQ Written Test
- Interview/Personality Test

- MCQ Part I: English, GK, Current Affairs, Aptitude & Mental Ability – 20 Marks.
- MCQ Part II: Tourism – 150 Marks.
- Interview/Personality Test: 30 Marks.
- Total: 200 Marks.

- Basics of Tourism: Concepts, definitions, history, types, impacts.
- Tourism Products: Focus on Tripura & North East (religious, geographical, adventure).
- Tourism Marketing: Concepts, scope, market segmentation, types of markets.
- Tourism Planning & Policy: Destination development, eco & sustainable tourism, policy factors.
- Legal & Ethical Issues: Business ethics, travel-related acts, monument preservation laws.
- Transport in Tourism: Air, surface & water transport.
Interview/Personality Test (30 Marks)
- Assessment of personality, communication skills & suitability for the post.

- General Candidates: ₹350/-.
- SC/ST/BPL/PwD Candidates: ₹250/-.
