In continuation
to the advertisement for the post of Assistant Professor (Technical &
Non-Technical) for Dhemaji Engineering College under Directorate of Technical
Education, Assam. It is for the information to all the applicants who have
successfully submitted the online application that the candidates for the post
of Assistant Professor (Technical & Non-Technical) will be shortlisted on
the basis of the performance in the Written Test notice.
Written Test: The candidates will have to appear in
a Written Test of the relevant Branch/Subject as per the following structure.

Note:
Marking Pattern in the Written Test: 4 marks will be awarded for every
correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
Syllabus:
For Assistant Professor
(Tech): As per the GATE 2020 syllabus of the relevant Branches.
For Assistant
Professor (Non-Tech. except Commerce/Humanities): As per PG level syllabus for
relevant Subjects.
For Assistant
Professor (Non-Tech.: Commerce/Humanities): As per PG level syllabus of the
subjects: Economics, Accountancy, Management & Sociology.
The shortlisted candidates will be called for
document verification before the final selection.
Merely allowing a candidate to appear in the
Written Test does not imply the fulfillment of the eligibility criteria for the
post.
The Appointing the authority reserves the right to cancel his/her candidature if and when any ineligibility
condition is detected and any of the particulars declared by the candidate in
online application is found to be false at any stage. The candidate must not
that the Appointing Authority will take up the verification of eligibility
condition i.e. age, educational qualification, and caste category, etc. only
after the candidate has qualified for in the Written Test.
Examination Fee: The candidates are to deposit online
an amount of Rs.1000/- *Rupees one thousand only) as Examination fee in the list is given in www.dte.assam.gov.in
