HCM Shillong Recruitment Details
Post Name: Stenographer Grade-I
No. of posts: 02 (Two)
Qualification: Bachelor Degree from a recognized University with Diploma in Stenography in English with minimum speed of 120 wpm in shorthand and typing speed of 50 wpm in Computer.
Scale of pay: Level-16, Rs.49000/-
Age limit: A candidate for appointment to the High Court service who is not in permanent government service must not be more than 32 (thirty-two) years of age in the case of general category candidates and 37 (thirty-seven) years of age in the case of scheduled caste or scheduled tribe candidates at the time of his or her application. No application shall be entertained from a person whose age is less than 18 (eighteen) years.

# Application Fees for the said posts for general applicants is Rs.400/- (Rupees Four hundred) only and Rs.200/- (Rupees Two hundred) only for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe. Candidates may pay using the following mode:-
1. ATM Cum Debit Card issued by the State Bank of India or Net Banking of the State Bank of India’s account holders. Please select e-Payment and select State Bank of India in the Meghalaya Portal Page and proceed with payment.
2. Cash payment at any branch of SBI using e-Challans: Candidates may also pay by cash at any branch of SBI. For cash payments using e-Challan, select Payment across Bank Counter and generate the e-Challan. Take a printout of the same and make the required payments. Payments must be made within 3 days from the last date of receipt of the application. The amount once deposited shall not be refunded or adjusted for any other purpose.
