DTE Assam Structure of the Written Test of Junior Assistant




Director of Technical Education (DTE), Assam in continuation to the advertisement for the post of Junior Assistant for Dhemaji Engineering College, Dhemaji under Directorate of Technical Education, Assam vide advertisement no.03/2020 and Janasanyog/D/9986/19, published in the local News Papers on 7th February 2020, it is for the information to all the applicants who have successfully submitted the online application that they will have to appear in a Written Test as per the structure given below:

Mode of Selection: The Selection process will be carried out in two phases.

Phase-I: Written Test

General English: 40

Logical Reasoning & Quantitative Aptitude: 30

General Knowledge with special emphasis on Assam: 20

Fundamentals of Computer: 10

Total Questions: 100

Duration: 2 hours

Phase II: Computer Proficiency Test for the Shortlisted candidates based on the performance in the Written Test as notified.

Total Marks: 50

Duration: One hour

Note:

The marking pattern in the Written Test will be as follows:

For every correct answer 4 marks will be awarded and for every wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted.

The short listed candidates will be called for document verification before final selection.

Merely allowing a candidate to appear in the Written Test does not imply fulfillment of the eligibility criteria for the post.

The Appointing authority reserves the right to cancel his/her candidature if and when any ineligibility condition is detected and any of the particulars declared by the candidate in online application is found to be false at any stage. The candidate must note that the Appointing Authority will take up the verification of eligibility condition i.e. age, educational qualification and caste category, etc. before issue of appointment letter.
