ASTU Guwahati Vacancy Details 2021
1. Chief Engineer
No. of Post: 01 (One)
Qualification & Experience: BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized University with at least 15 years experience in the construction of Building, Roads etc. in office of the Public Work Department of the Government or any statutory bodies. Preference will be given to candidates having experience as Superintending Engineer/Executive Engineer during service period.
Remuneration: Rs.60,000/- per month all inclusive.
Age limit: Should not be more than 65 years as on 01.01.2021.
2. Library Assistant (Technical)
No. of Post: 01 (One)
Essential Qualification: Degree in Library Science from a recognized University.
#Knowledge of Computer Operation in Library work is mandatory. It includes (i) Knowledge and experience of working with any standard “Library Automation Software” for House Keeping activities in the library such as cataloguing, acquisition and circulation etc. and (ii) Knowledge and experience of computerized search both of online and offline database including retrieval of desired information through various search engines/processes; plagiarism check software experience is required.
#Knowledge of report compilation, processing of book/e-book, journal/e-journal procurement, minutes preparation of library related meetings, library organization etc.
#Organization of webinars/online workshops for the university.
Desirable: Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized University or Institute.
Remuneration: Rs.18,000/- per month all inclusive.
Age limit: Not more than 44 years as on 01.01.2021, relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
