Age Limit
|
- Up to 40 years as on 10.06.2025. Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/PH candidates and Govt. servants. SC/ST Govt. servants are not eligible for additional age relaxation beyond 5 years.

Application Fee
|
- Rs. 350/- for General candidates and Rs. 250/- for SC/ST/BPL/PH candidates. Fee once paid is non-refundable.
|
|
Salary
|
- Pay Scale: PB-3, Rs. 47,600–1,51,100/- with Grade Pay Rs. 4,800/- (Level-13) as per Tripura State Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2018, subject to revision by the State Government.

- Registration: New applicants must first register via One Time Profile Registration (OTPR). After registration, a User ID will be sent to the applicant’s registered mobile/email. Use this ID to apply for the post on the Commission’s website.

Selection Process Overview
1. Steps:
- Written Exam: 100 marks
- Interview/Viva: 15 marks
2. Interview Criteria: 15 marks to assess personal qualities such as intellectual ability, leadership, social traits, and moral integrity.
3. Personality Test Call-up (Based on Written Exam Result):
- 1 vacancy: 5 candidates
- 2 vacancies: 8 candidates
- 3+ vacancies: 3x number of vacancies
Note: Candidates with equal marks as the last selected candidate will also be called for the Interview.
4. Final Selection: Based on the aggregate marks (85% written + 15% interview). Bonus: 1 mark for knowledge of Bengali/Kok-Borok.
5. Merit Position: Tied candidates will be ranked by age seniority or educational marks if age is equal.
6. No Ranking: Beyond the recommendation list or waitlist, candidates are not ranked.
