1. Assistant Engineer (AE)

  • No. of post: 01 (One)
  • Qualification: Degree B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a Government recognized institution.
  • Scale of pay: Rs.35000/- per month.
  • Age limit: 18-32 years as on 01.01.2025. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST.
2. Junior Engineer (JE)

  • No. of post: 01 (One)
  • Qualification: 3 (three) years Diploma Course in Electrical Engineering from a Government recognized institution.
  • Scale of pay: Rs.25000/- per month.
  • Age limit: 18-32 years as on 01.01.2025. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST.
3. Account Assistant

  • No. of post: 01 (One)
  • Qualification: Graduate in Commerce from a recognized Institution.
  • Scale of pay: Rs.20000/- per month.
  • Age limit: 18-32 years as on 01.01.2025. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST.
4. Sanitary Inspector

  • No. of post: 01 (One)
  • Qualification: Class XII passed with one year diploma course in Public Health and Sanitation Technology from a recognized University.
  • Scale of pay: Rs.20000/- per month.
  • Age limit: 18-32 years as on 01.01.2025. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST.
5. Driver

  • No. of post: 01 (One)
  • Qualification: Class VIII pass having valid Professional Heavy Vehicle Driving license. Driving Test will be conducted.
  • Scale of pay: Rs.15000/- per month.
  • Age limit: 18-32 years as on 01.01.2025. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST.
6. Driver (JCB)

  • No. of post: 01 (One)
  • Qualification: Class VIII pass having valid LDX (Loader or Construction equipment) Driving license and Driving Test will be conducted.
  • Scale of pay: Rs.15000/- per month.
  • Age limit: 18-32 years as on 01.01.2025. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST.
7. Data Entry Operator (DEO)

  • No. of posts: 02 (Two)
  • Qualification: HSSLC Passed with a Certificate Course in Computers having a minimum duration of 6 months.
  • Scale of pay: Rs.20000/- per month.
  • Age limit: 18-32 years as on 01.01.2025. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST.
8. Sweeper

  • No. of posts: 08 (Eight)
  • Qualification: Class-VI passed.
  • Scale of pay: Rs.15000/- per month.
  • Age limit: 18-32 years as on 01.01.2025. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST.
9. Sectional Assistant

  • No. of post: 01 (One)
  • Qualification: SSLC passed.
  • Scale of pay: Rs.20000/- per month.
  • Age limit: 18-32 years as on 01.01.2025. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST.

Application Fee of Jowai Municipal Board

Applicant may pay the fee of Rs.100/- using one of the following modes of payment: -

(i) Debit cum ATM Card/Net Banking of all major banks.
(ii) UPI.
(iii) Payment via Net-Banking/Debit cum ATM Card.
