AILET 2021-22 Admission Details

1. B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) [Five-Year Programme]

Total Seats: 110+10 (110 seats on AILET merit; 5 seats each for Foreign Nationals and OCI/PIO for direct admission on merit). Foreign Nationals/OCI/PIO is exempted from AILET, but should have 65% marks in the qualifying examination.

Eligibility: Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 System) or Equivalent Examination with 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ST/Persons with Disabilities). The candidates appearing for the 12th standard annual examination in 2021 are eligible to apply.

Additional Supernumerary Seats: One seat for Kashmiri Migrants and Two seats for Residents of Jammu & Kashmir.

2. LL.M. Programme [One Year]

Total Seats: 70+10 (70 Seats on AILET merit; 5 seats each for Foreign Nationals and OCI/PIO for direct admission on merit). Foreign Nationals/OCI/PIO are exempted from AILET.

Eligibility: LL.B. or an equivalent law degree with 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST/ Persons with Disabilities). The candidates appearing for final year LL.B. annual examination in 2021 are eligible to apply.

Note: One additional supernumerary seat for Kashmiri Migrants.

3. Ph.D. Programme

Total Seats: 13+2 (13 Seats on AILET merit and 2 Seats for direct admission to Foreign Nationals on merit of Research Proposals). Foreign Nationals are exempted from AILET. 
Eligibility: LL.M. or an equivalent law degree with 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/Persons with Disabilities).

AILET-2021-22 will be conducted at the following cities:

Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Cuttack, Dehradun, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Greater Noida, Gurugram, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Jodhpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Raipur, Silchar, Varanasi and Visakhapatnam.

How to Apply AILET 2021-22 Admission

Interested candidates should apply online on payment of application fee of Rs.3,050/-(Rupees Three Thousand Fifty Only). Application fee in case of SC/ST and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) is Rs.1,050/-(Rupees One thousand Fifty Only). Below Poverty Line (BPL) applicants of SC/ST category are exempted from application fee.
