The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially released the notification for the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination-II (NDA & NA-II), 2026. The examination will be conducted for admission into the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 158th Course and the 120th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from 01 July 2027. Salary
Officer Cadets during training will receive a stipend of Rs. 56,100/- per month. After commissioning as Lieutenant or equivalent, pay scale will range from Rs. 56,100/- to Rs. 1,77,500/- under Level 10. Military Service Pay (MSP) of Rs. 15,500/- per month is applicable from Lieutenant to Brigadier rank.
Qualification
Army Wing of NDA: 12th Class pass or equivalent examination. Air Force & Naval Wings of NDA and INA: 12th Class pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Candidates appearing in 12th Class examination are also eligible to apply.
Age Limit
Only unmarried male and female candidates are eligible. Candidates must be born not earlier than 01 January 2008 and not later than 01 January 2011.
