- Qualification: HSLC or equivalent passed from any recognized Board with Diploma in Draftsmanship from Govt. recognized Institute.

Age limit for Forest Department Dima Hasao District
- 18-40 years as on 01.10.2021. Relaxation up to 5 years in case of ST/SC candidates, 3 years in case of OBC/MOBC, 2 years in respect of ex-servicemen and 10 years i.e. up to 50 years in respect of Persons with Disabilities.
Selection Procedure for Forest Department Dima Hasao District
1. Forester-I & Forest Guards: The Selection test shall comprise:-
A. Written Test for 2 hours:
(i) (a) Genera Arithmetic (b) General English (c) General Knowledge
(ii) Qualifying candidates of the written test will have to appear the following test:
B. Physical Fitness Test:
Comprising 26 kms (for male) and 16 kms (for female) of walking to be covered within 4 hours followed by Medical Test.
C. The qualified candidates for the posts of Grade-III will have to appear the Oral Test.
2. Junior Assistant: The Selection test shall comprise:
A. Written Test for 2 hours:
(a) General Arithmetic (b) General English (c) General Knowledge.
(b) Qualifying candidates of the written test will have to appear Computer typing and English Drafting Test.
3. Draftsman
(a) General Mathematics (b) Drawing (c) Mensuration
4. Peon, Chowkidar, Chainman, Plantation, Mali, Waterman
The Selection test shall comprise: (a) Oral Test only.
How to Apply for Forest Department Dima Hasao District
#Application in Standard Form prescribed in Part-IX of Assam Gazette affixing Council Court Fee Stamp worth Rs.10/- with two recent passport size photographs and photocopies of Age Proof Certificate, Caste Certificate, Educational Qualification Certificates, Mark Sheets etc. of HSLC/HSSLC/Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and other relevant documents with self attested must be submitted in the O/o Divisional Forest Officers:
(a) Dima Hasao Forest Division (West), Haflong or
(b) Dima Hasao Forest Division (East), Haflong or
(c) Southern Afforestation Division, Haflong on or before 15th November, 2021 with the office hours, beyond which no application will be entertained under any circumstances.
#Candidates must bring with them the Call letter/Admit Card, Original documents etc. at the time of written test/viva-voce.
