Pay Scale: PB-2 (₹14,000 – ₹70,000 + Grade Pay ₹6,200)
Age Limit: 21 to 40 years as on January 1, 2026.
Eligibility Criteria for LRS Assam Recruitment 2026
Candidates must have successfully completed the 6-month Recorders Certificate Class Course (RCCC) Training at the Assam Survey & Settlement Training Centre, Dakhingaon, Guwahati-40, in both Survey and Settlement subjects before August 13, 2026.
Candidates must have computer proficiency with a minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute in English and 15 words per minute in Assamese/Bengali.
Candidates who are already employed in Government service must apply through the proper channel and produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) during document verification.
Selection Process & Examination Syllabus
1. Written Examination (Paper-I – 80 Marks): Objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
- Mathematics (Class X Standard) – 10 marks
- Conventional Survey – 50 marks
- Modern Survey – 20 marks
2. Skill Test (Paper-II – 20 Marks): Practical test to assess computer typing proficiency in English, Assamese, or Bengali.
3. Minimum Qualifying Marks:
- UR: Written Test – 40 marks | Skill Test – 10 marks
- OBC/MOBC/STP/STH/SC/PwD: Written Test – 32 marks | Skill Test – 8 marks
