Post Name: Land Records Assistant (LRA)
No. of posts: 552 nos.
Salary: Rs.14000-70000/- + GP Rs.6200/-.
Age limit: 21 to 40 years.
Eligibility Criteria for LRS Assam Recruitment
➦HSLC or equivalent from a recognized board.
➦Must have passed Recorder Certificate Class Course (RCCC) from Assam Survey & Settlement Training Centre, Dakhingaon, Guwahati (except Sixth Schedule districts/other states).
➦Computer proficiency required with minimum 30 words per minute typing speed in Assamese/Bengali.
➦Candidates already in service must apply through proper channel.
Other Details of LRS Assam Recruitment
1. Selection Process
Shortlisting:
- Applications will be screened based on eligibility criteria.
- Shortlisted candidates will appear for a Competitive Written Examination (MCQ type).
2. Written Examination (100 Marks Total)
- Paper-1 (80 Marks – MCQ Type):
- Mathematics (Class X standard) – 10 marks
- Conventional Survey – 50 marks
- Modern Survey – 20 marks
- Negative marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
Skill Test (20 Marks)
Computer proficiency test including:
- Assamese/Bengali Unicode typing
- Basic computer operations
- Document preparation & formatting
- Data entry, file handling, and printing
3. Document Verification: Candidates qualified in the written exam will be called for skill test and document verification.
4. Minimum Qualifying Marks
- UR: Written Test – 32 | Skill Test – 8
- OBC/MOBC/STP/STH/SC/PwD: Written Test – 24 | Skill Test – 6
