Manipur TET 2026: Directorate of Education (S), Government of Manipur has released an official update for the Manipur Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2026 for Paper-I (Classes I to V) and Paper-II (Classes VI to VIII). A total of 1,539 Paper-I applications and 800 Paper-II applications have been placed under rejected status.

Latest Scrutiny Notice
- Rejected Applications: 1,539 Paper-I and 800 Paper-II applications have been placed under rejected status.
- Claims & Objections: Rejected candidates can submit claims and supporting documents up to 08.09.2026.
- District Preference: Eligible candidates must log in to the official portal and select their preferred examination district by 11.09.2026.
- Default Allocation: Candidates who do not submit district preference may be allotted an examination centre based on their address or administrative convenience.
Educational Qualification
- Paper-I (Classes I–V): Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and 2-year D.El.Ed. / 4-year B.El.Ed. / 2-year Diploma in Special Education.
- OR Graduation with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Paper-II (Classes VI–VIII): Graduation with 2-year D.El.Ed. OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. / B.Ed. (Special Education).
- OR Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and 4-year B.El.Ed. / B.A.Ed. / B.Sc.Ed.
- OR Post-Graduation with minimum 55% marks and 3-year integrated B.Ed.–M.Ed.
- Relaxation: Up to 5% relaxation in qualifying marks is applicable to SC, ST, OBC and Differently-abled candidates.
