Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Indian citizen.
- State Requirement: Valid Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) of Arunachal Pradesh.
- APST Status: Candidate must possess an Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe (APST) Certificate.
- Language: Working knowledge of any notified Indigenous Tribal Language of Arunachal Pradesh.
- Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized University.
- Final Year Students: Candidates appearing in their final degree examination may apply provisionally and must produce proof of qualification at the Interview/Viva-Voce.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 21 Years
- Maximum Age: 35 Years
- APST Candidates: Upper age limit up to 40 years.
- Disabled APST Defence Personnel: Relaxation up to 8 years.
- APST PwBD Candidates: Relaxation up to 15 years.
- Age will be calculated as on 20 October 2026.

APPSCCE Exam Pattern & Selection Process
- Preliminary Examination: 400 marks consisting of General Studies and CSAT. CSAT is qualifying with a minimum 33% marks.
- Negative Marking: 1/3rd mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- Main Examination: 8 papers, including English, Essay, General Studies and two Optional Subjects. Merit papers carry 1,750 marks.
- Interview: Personality Test carrying 275 marks.
- Final Merit: Based on Mains (1,750) and Interview (275), totaling 2,025 marks.
