Qualification

  • Development Assistant: Bachelor's degree with 50% marks.
  • Development Assistant (Hindi): Bachelor's degree with Hindi & English with 50% marks.

Scheme of Selection

1. Preliminary Exam (Online)

The preliminary test checks basic aptitude and is qualifying in nature. It consists of three objective-type sections:

  • English Language – 40 questions, 40 marks (20 minutes)
  • Numerical Ability – 30 questions, 30 marks (20 minutes)
  • Reasoning Ability – 30 questions, 30 marks (20 minutes)
  • Total: 100 questions | 100 marks | 60 minutes
2. Main Exam (Online)

Candidates who clear Prelims must appear for the Main Exam, which tests deeper knowledge and writing skills:

  • Reasoning – 30 questions, 30 marks (30 minutes)
  • Quantitative Aptitude – 30 questions, 30 marks (30 minutes)
  • General Awareness (focus on agriculture, rural development & banking) – 50 questions, 50 marks (25 minutes)
  • Computer Knowledge – 40 questions, 40 marks (20 minutes)
  • English Language (Descriptive) – 3 questions for 50 marks (30 minutes)
  • Total: 200 questions | 135 marks
