1. Post Name: Senior
Research Fellow (SRF)
No. of Posts: 05 (five)
Essential Qualification: M.F.Sc.
in Fisheries Resource Management, Fish Nutrition, Fish Genetics and
Biotechnology, Aquiatic Environment Management.
Or,
M.Sc.
in Zoology with specialization in Fisheries/M.Sc. in Life Sciences with
specialization in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology.
Experience: Candidate
with work experience in Genetic characterization Barcoding, Texonomy will be
preferred.
Emolument: Rs.25,000
with 10% HRA for 1st & 2nd year.
2. Post Name: Project
Assistant (PA)
No. of Posts: 03 (three)
Essential Qualification: B.F.Sc./B.V.Sc./B.Sc.
(Agriculture and allied)/B.Sc.
Desirable: Experience in handling molecular works/statistical software and proficiency in computer
will be preferred.
Emolument: Rs.12,000/-

walk-in-interview. The candidates need to submit a bio-data in standard form
of application with all original and one set of self attested copy of testimonials/certificates
at the time of interview. Candidates have to deposit an IPO of Rs.50.00
(Rupees Fifty Only)/Rs.25.00 (Rupees Twenty Five Only) for SC/ST candidates,
drawn in favour of the Comptroller, Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat-785103 at
the time of interview.
