Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be departmental candidates working in the feeder grades of participating organizations. Most cadres require 3 to 6 years of regular service. Bachelor's Degree is mandatory for Central Passport Organisation candidates. Railway Board candidates must possess the required typing qualification.
Age Limit
Railway Board Secretariat Clerical Service: Maximum 50 Years. Directorate General Defence Estates: Maximum 45 Years. SC/ST: 5 Years Relaxation. Disabled Defence Personnel: 3 to 8 Years Relaxation.
Pay Scale
Pay Level-4 (Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted) – ₹25,500 to ₹81,100.
Application Fee
No application fee has been prescribed for the examination. However, candidates challenging tentative answer keys must pay ₹50 per question.

How to Apply
Generate One-Time Registration (OTR) at SSC portal. Fill and submit the online application form. Upload live photograph, signature and required certificates. Print the application form after submission. Forward the application through the proper departmental channel. Ensure the hard copy reaches SSC Northern Region before the prescribed deadline.
Important Instructions
Only departmental candidates are eligible. Examination will be conducted only in Delhi NCR. Multiple applications may lead to rejection. There is negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-I. Applications not forwarded through the proper channel will be rejected.
