Educational Qualification Criteria
  • Must possess an MBBS degree from a recognized University or Institute established by law.
  • Foreign medical graduates must produce an FMGE / Screening test pass certificate issued by the NBE.
  • Applicants must hold a valid state medical registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or any State Medical Council.
Age Limit & Remuneration Structure
  • Age Limit: Candidates must be 30 years of age or below as on reference date 1st June 2026.
  • Consolidated Salary: Selected Junior Residents will receive a fixed compensation of ₹50,000/- per month.
  • Tenure Details: Initial appointment is for 6 months, extendable up to a total period of one year based on service logs.
Application Fee Details
  • General / UR / OBC Candidates: ₹100/-
  • ST / SC / Differently Abled Candidates: ₹50/-
  • Payment Mode: Fee must be compiled strictly in cash at the counter during physical document submission.
Selection Process & Merit Index System
The final selection list will be formulated entirely based on academic merit scores. There will be no personal interview. The scoring matrices are defined as follows:

Evaluation Metrics Points Allocation Remarks
Academic Score in MBBS 20 Points Base score granted to all eligible graduates.
Number of Attempts in MBBS -1 Point 1 mark deducted for every two attempts in the final year exams.
Year of Passing Record -1 Point 1 point deducted for each additional year from passing to favor fresh graduates.

  • Institutional Preference: High priority preference will be extended to fresh medical graduates passing out from JNIMS itself.

  • Fill out all details legibly using only CAPITAL LETTERS.

  • Compile self-attested document transcripts: Photograph, Class-X age proof certificate, MBBS Degree, Marksheets (All Years), Internship Completion, Attempt Certificate, and Council Registration.
  • Submit the completed file package along with the cash application fee directly to the General Section, JNIMS, Imphal.
  • Ensure the application setup reaches the administrative office counter before 22nd June 2026 (Until 3:00 P.M.). Collect your confirmation slip post submission.
