MeECL Shillong Recruitment Details
1. Assistant Engineer (Electrical/Electrical & Electronics)
- Total Posts: 08
- Category-wise: UR–01, Khasi/Jaintia–03, Garo–03, Other–01
- Qualification: Applicants must hold a BE/B.Tech degree in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognized university or institute approved by the Government of Meghalaya, UGC, or AICTE.
2. Assistant Engineer (Computer Science/IT)
- Total Posts: 05
- Category-wise: UR–01, Khasi/Jaintia–02, Garo–02
- Qualification: Candidates should have a BE/B.Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology from a recognized university or institute approved by the Government of Meghalaya, UGC, or AICTE.
Salary: Selected candidates will receive a pay scale of ₹83,000 – ₹1,96,100 per month, along with other allowances as per corporation rules.
Age Limit:
- Age criteria will be followed according to State Government norms.
- Relaxation up to 5 years in the upper age limit is applicable for SC/ST candidates, as per rules.
