Eligibility Criteria:
1. Age: The candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 40 years of age as on 1st January 2023.The upper age limit is relaxed by: i. 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates. ii. 5 years for SC/ST(P)/ST(H) candidates. iii. Persons with disabilities (PwD) candidates by 10 years as per Govt. O.M. No.ABP.6/2016/51 dated 02/09/2020. iv. The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the matriculation/HSLC Admit card/Certificate issued by a recognized Board/Council and no other document shall be accepted in lieu of the mentioned documents.
2. Nationality: Candidate must be a Citizen of India, ordinary residence of Assam.
3. Educational Qualification:
# The minimum educational qualification of the candidate shall be HSLC or equivalent examination from any Central or State recognized Boards.
# The candidates must possess a valid 6 (six) months "Recorders Certificate Class Course (RCCC) Training" passed certificate from the Assam Surveys & Settlement Training Centre, Dakhingaon, Guwahati.
# Candidates must possess a minimum 6 (six) months Diploma/Certificate in Computer proficiency (both English & Assamese) from a Govt. recognized institute. He/she must have good working knowledge of office productivity software tools of any operating system.
Scale of pay: Pay Band of Rs.14,000/- to Rs.60,500/- Grade Pay of Rs.6,200/- plus other allowances as admissible under Assam Service (ROP) Rule 2017 (as amended).
4. Application Fee: There is no application fee for the aforesaid posts as per Govt. Notification No.FEG.32 /20L6/12 dated 2L/05/2018 of Finance (Esn.-A) Department, Dispur, Guwahati - 06.

Selection Procedure for DC Charaideo Grade-III
The candidates, whose applications are accepted as per eligibility criteria will be required to appear in an Objective Type Written Test (100 marks) and Computer Proficiency (Practical) Test (25 marks). The duration of the Written Test will be 2 (two) hours.
