Educational Qualification
-
Medical Officer: MBBS Degree from a recognized institution and registered under the State Medical Council (SMC) or National Medical Commission (NMC).

Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM): Passed ANM course from an institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and registered under the Meghalaya Nursing Council (MNC).

Tenure & Selection Process
-
Medical Officer Contract Period: 11 months.

ANM Contract Period: 6 months under the 15th Finance Commission.

Medical Officer Selection: Walk-in Personal Interview on 02.09.2026 at 12:00 Noon at the Office Chamber of the DMHO, Nongpoh. Registration will be from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM.

ANM Selection: Written Test on 15.09.2026 at 12:00 Noon, followed by Personal Interview of shortlisted candidates on 17.09.2026 at 12:30 PM.

TA/DA: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the written test or interview.

How to Apply

For Medical Officer: Candidates should attend the walk-in interview with the completed application, CV, original certificates and self-attested photocopies at the Office Chamber of the DMHO, Ri Bhoi District, Nongpoh on 02nd September 2026. Registration will be from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM.

For ANM: Submit the hard-copy application along with self-attested copies of all relevant certificates and testimonials at the DPMU, NHM Room (2nd Floor), Office of the District Medical & Health Officer, Ri Bhoi District, Nongpoh.

The ANM application must reach the concerned office on or before 10th September 2026 up to 5:00 PM.
