Eligibility Criteria
- Must have passed Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC/Class 12th) from a recognized institution.
- Must possess Diploma in Computer Application (DCA) Semester-I or a Certificate Course in Computer Application or above from an AICTE-recognized institution or any institution recognized by the Central/State Government or UT Administration.
- Must possess a typing speed of 30 words per minute.
- Must have working knowledge of Mizo Language up to Middle School Standard.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 35 Years
- Age will be calculated as on 15 September 2026.
- SC/ST Candidates: Up to 5 years relaxation, subject to applicable rules.
- Ex-Servicemen: Age relaxation as per the Mizoram Ex-Servicemen (Re-employment in Civil Post) Rules, 2019.
Competitive Examination Pattern – 400 Marks
The selection will be based on a competitive written examination carrying 400 marks.
Paper: Paper-I
Part A: General Knowledge – 50 Questions, General English – 25 Questions
Part B: Essay Writing and English Comprehension
Marks: 200
Duration: 3 Hours
Paper: Paper-II
Subjects: Computer Knowledge – 50 Questions
Simple Arithmetic: 25 Questions
General Intelligence & Reasoning: 25 Questions
Marks: 200
Duration: 3 Hours
Grand Total: 400 Marks
Note: PwD candidates are entitled to compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour.

Note: The application fee must be paid in cash at the time of submission of the application form at the Directorate Office. Candidates claiming ST/SC/OBC fee relaxation must attach a valid caste certificate; otherwise, ₹200/- will be charged.
Documents Required
Photographs: One passport-size photograph affixed to the form and two additional identical photographs.
Academic Certificates & Marksheets: Class 10th onwards up to the highest qualification.
Age Proof: Class 10th Certificate.
Computer Qualification Certificate: DCA Semester-I/Computer Application Certificate or above.
Nationality Proof: Voter ID Card or other valid identity document.
Caste/Category Certificate: ST/SC/OBC certificate, if applicable.
Mizo Language Certificate: Mizo language test certificate, where applicable.
PwD Certificate: Certificate showing 40% or above benchmark disability, if applicable.
Ex-Servicemen Certificate: Relevant supporting discharge/service document, if applicable.
How to Apply
Step 1: Download the official application form from schooleducation.mizoram.gov.in or obtain it from the Directorate of School Education Office, Treasury Square, Aizawl.
Step 2: Fill in all personal, educational, computer and language-related details carefully.
Step 3: Attach self-attested copies of all required certificates, marksheets, photographs and identity documents.
Step 4: Pay the prescribed application fee of ₹150/- for ST/SC/OBC or ₹200/- for General candidates.
Step 5: Submit the completed application form at the Directorate of School Education Office, Treasury Square, Aizawl.
Step 6: Applications can be submitted between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM on working days.
Step 7: The application must be submitted on or before 15 September 2026.
