Manipur University, Canchipur, has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 81 vacancies - Research Assistant (RA), Field Investigator (FI), Faculty, and Non Teaching (Group B & C). Eligible candidates may apply online from 08 May to 18 June 2025.

Application Fee
Non-Teaching:  ₹500 for UR/OBC and ₹300 for SC/ST/PWD (payable online).
Age Limit
Project Staff: 21-35 years. Non-Teaching:  Dept. Group C/D staff get age relaxation to 40 yrs (General) & 45 yrs (SC/ST) with ≥3 yrs continuous service, per GoI orders.
Salary
Research Assistant: Rs.37000/- Field Investigator: Rs.20000/- Guest Faculty: Rs.50000/- Non-Teaching: Rs.18000-142400/-

RA	01	Ph.D./M.Phil./Postgraduate in Geography with ≥ 55% marks. Proficient in handling and analyzing primary data using research tools; strong command of SPSS, MS Excel or other statistical/code‑based analysis tools.
FI	02	Postgraduate in Geography with ≥ 55% marks. Fieldwork experience, proficiency in MS Excel, strong communication in Manipuri & English.
Guest Faculty	01	As per UGC norms for Assistant Professor in the relevant subject.
Section Officer	03	Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with relevant experience.
Stenographer	02	Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with relevant experience.
Senior Assistant	02	Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with relevant experience.
Technical Assistant	08	Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with relevant experience.
Assistant	04	Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with relevant experience.
Junior Stenographer	04	Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
Junior Assistant	10	Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
Driver	03	10th Pass from any recognized Board with Valid commercial driving license (LMV/MDV/HMV).
Cook	03	10th pass + 1-year ITI certificate with relevant experience.
Library Attendant	01	10+2 + Certificate in Library Science with relevant experience.
Laboratory Attendant	03	10+2 with science or 10th with science + Skill certificate in Laboratory Technology.
Peon & Others	35	10th pass or ITI pass from a recognized board/institute
