Archaeology, Assam has released current employment news of official website archaeology.assam.gov.in notification for the recruitment 16 posts of LDA, Foreman, Planning Assistant,
Draftsman, Driver, Monument Attendant, Peon, Chowkidar and Handyman (Grade-III
& Grade-IV) Vacancies in 2021. Applications are invited from intending and
eligible candidates who are citizens of India and having registration no. in
the Employment Exchange in the State of Assam as defined in Articles 5-8 of the
Constitution of India.

Archaeology Assam Vacancy Details 2021
1. LDA (H.Q.
Level) (Gr.III)
▪No
of Posts: 02 (Unreserved: 01 & PWD: 01)
▪Qualification:
(a) The candidates must possess a
Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or any examination declared
equivalent by the Government.
(b) Moreover, the candidate must
possess minimum 6 (six) months Computer Certificate with skills for handling
data and test along with English and Assamese typing on Computer.
▪Scale
of Pay: Rs.14000-60500/- + GP Rs.6200 + other allowances
2. LDA (District
Level) (Gr.III)
▪No
of Posts: 02 (Unreserved: 01 & OBC/MOBC: 01)
▪Qualification:
(a) The candidates must possess a
Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or any examination declared
equivalent by the Government.
(b) Moreover, the candidate must

(one) year valid certificate in draftsmanship in survey from Govt. recognized

Age limit of Archaeology Assam Recruitment 2021
▪Candidates should not be more than 40
years and less than 18 years of age as on 01st January, 2020
(Candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2002 and on or after 01.01.1980).
Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable as under:-
i) 05 (five) years
in case of candidates belonging to SC, STP & STH
ii) 03 (three) years
in case of candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC
iii) 2 years for
Ex-serviceman candidates
iv) 10 years for PwD
candidates.
▪For the purpose of determining the
age limit, the Directorate will accept only the date of birth recorded in the
Matriculation or equivalent examination certificate/Admit card issued by a
recognized Education Board or the birth certificate issued by Competent
Authority will be accepted.
How to Apply Archaeology Assam Jobs 2021
•Application in
the prescribed Standard Form of application published in Part-IX of Assam
Gazette.
•Any candidate
who desires to apply for multiple posts, need to submit separate applications
clearly mentioning the name of the post, along with the necessary enclosures.
•Required
Testimonials to be attached with the application and to be self attested.
Applicants should submit their applications along with photocopies of all testimonials
duly self attested regarding qualifications, age, caste certificate (in case of
reserved category), employment exchange registration card etc.
•Two copies of
recent passport size photograph of the candidate duly self attested is to be
submitted.
•One self
addressed envelope of 10x4.5 affixing postal stamp of Rs.5/- must be enclosed
with the application.
