Age Limit
  • Candidate must be an Indian national and below 28 years as of 01-08-2025. Age relaxation: 3 yrs (OBC-NCL), 5 yrs (SC/ST), 10 yrs (PwBD).

 Application Fee
  • ₹500 application fee (online payment only via net banking, cards, UPI).
  • Exempted: Women, SC, ST, and PwBD candidates.
  • Fee must be paid after submitting the form using the generated Application Number.
  • Incomplete applications without fee payment will be rejected.

Junior Research Fellowships (JRF)

Selected candidates will receive ₹37,000/month as JRF for 2 years. On satisfactory review, upgraded to SRF with ₹42,000/month. Tenure: 5 years, with ₹60,000/year contingency grant.

Qualification
  • Minimum 60% in B.Sc. and 55% in M.Sc.
  • 55% for 5-year Integrated M.Sc./B.S.-M.S.
  • 75% for 4-year B.S. with Research degree.
  • Final-year students may apply with required mark sheets; must meet final aggregate criteria to continue.
  • All certificates must be submitted at joining; CGPA must be converted to percentage using institute's formula.

  • Apply online from 28/04/2025 to 19/05/2025 at recruit.barc.gov.in.
  • Only one application per candidate is allowed.
  • Read instructions carefully and keep all documents ready before applying.
  • Fill in all educational and personal details accurately; incomplete forms will be rejected.
