DMU Manipur Vacancy 2023 Details


1. Finance Officer
No. of Post: 01 (UR)

Essential Qualification: 

(i) A Master’s degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of „B‟ in the University Grants Commission 7-point scale.

(ii) At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor and above or with 8 years‟ of service and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in Educational Administration; 

Or, 

Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education. 

Or,

15 years of administrative experience of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.

Scale of Pay: Rs.37400-67000 + GP Rs.10000/-

2. Librarian
No. of Post: 01 (UR)

Essential Qualification: 

(i) A Master’s degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale, wherever grading system is followed.

(ii) At least ten years as a Librarian at any level in University Library or ten years of teaching as Assistant/Associate Professor in Library Science or ten years‟ experience as a College Librarian.

(iii) Evidence of innovative library services, including the integration of ICT in a Library.

(iv) A Ph.D. Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation/archives and manuscript keeping

Scale of Pay: Rs.37400-67000 + GP Rs.10000/-

3. Deputy Registrar
No. of Post: 01 (UR)

Essential Qualification: 

A Master’s degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of “B” in the UGC 7 point scale; along with

(i) Nine years of experience as Assistant Professor and above with experience in educational administration, 

Or

(ii) Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education, 

Or

(iii) 5 years‟ of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or in an equivalent post.

Scale of Pay: Rs.37400-67000 + GP Rs.10000/-

4. Assistant Registrar
No. of Post: 01 (UR)

Essential Qualification: Good academic record plus Master’s degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of “B” in the UGC 7 points scale.

Scale of Pay: Rs.15600-39100 + GP Rs.7600/-

5. Assistant Controller of Examinations
No. of Post: 01 (UR)

Essential Qualification: Good academic record plus Master’s degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of “B” in the UGC 7 points scale.

Scale of Pay: Rs.15600-39100 + GP Rs.5400/-

6. Assistant Finance Officer
No. of Posts: 02 (UR)

Essential Qualification: Good academic record plus Master’s degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of “B” in the UGC 7 points scale.

7. Medical Officer
No. of Post: 01 (UR)

Essential Qualification: 

(i) Possession of a recognized Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule, or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1957. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should fulfill the conditions as stipulated in sub-section 3 of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

(ii) Completion of compulsory rotating Internship.

(iii) Possession of Registration Certificate issued by MCI/State Medical Councils.

(iv) Age: 18-38 years (upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates & by 3 years for OBC candidates).

Scale of Pay: Rs.9300-34800 + GP Rs.5400/-

8. Private Secretary
No. of Post: 01 (UR)

Essential Qualification: 

(i) Bachelor Degree from a recognized Institution.

(ii) Knowledge in shorthand Writing.

(iii) Possessing “O” or higher level Certificate Course conducted by DOEACC under control of Dept. Of Electronics, GOI.

Or

Computer Operator & (COPA)/Data Preparation and & Computer Software (DPCS) Certificate organized under National/State Council of Vocational Training Scheme.

Or

Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering from a Polytechnic Institution recognized by the Govt.

Or

Diploma in Computer Science/Computer Application from a recognized Institution.

Desirable Qualification: Experience of working in a recognized Institution

Scale of Pay: Rs.9300-34800 + GP Rs.4400/-

9. Section Officer

Essential Qualification: 

(i) Graduate from a recognized Institution.

(ii) Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering from a Polytechnic Institution recognized by the Govt. or Diploma in Computer Science/Computer Application from a recognized Institution.

Scale of Pay: Rs.9300-34800 + GP Rs.4400/-.

Age: 18-38 years (upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates & by 3 years for OBC candidates).

10. Staff Nurse
No. of Posts: 03 (UR)

Essential Qualification: 

(i) Matriculate/HSLC or its equivalent of a recognized University/Board.

(ii) Registered “A” Grade Nurse. (Senior Certificate in Nursing & Senior Midwifery from a recognized University/Institute (for Male Nurses Senior Midwifery Certificate is not required)

Scale of Pay: Rs.9300-34800 + GP Rs.4200/-

11. Computer Operator

12. Office Assistant

13. Driver (Light)

Essential Qualification: 

(i) Class X passed.
