Essential:
1. MBBS from recognized Medical Institution/University.
2. Master of Surgery in Ophthalmology (M.S)/DNB in Ophthalmology or Diploma in Ophthalmology.
Desirable:
1. Competency in Small Incision Cataract Surgery/Phacoemulsification.
2. Trained in other sub-specialities (Cornea, Glaucoma and Medical Retina).
3. Exposure in Community Ophthalmology with experience in holding Community Screening and Eye Health Education.
