Department of Agricultural Tripura Vacancy 2021 Details
Agriculture Officer, TAFS, Grade-I
√No. of Posts: 63 [UR: 23, SC: 13 & ST: 27
(Ex-SM 1), PH:03]
√Essential: Bachelor Degree in
Agriculture/Horticulture from a recognized University/ Institute.
√Desirable:
(i) Knowledge of Agro-climatic
condition of Tripura.
(ii) Knowledge of Bengali or Kokborok.
√Scale of Pay: Rs.10,230-34,800/- with Grade Pay
Rs.4,800/- and pay level 13 of Tripura State Pay Matrix 2018.
Age limit of Department of Agricultural Tripura Recruitment
√Up to 40 years as
on 30.03.2021. Upper age is relaxable by 5 years in case of ST/SC candidates,
Govt. Servants and other categories as specified by the State Government time
to time. The Govt. Employees belonging to ST/SC/other categories shall not get
this relaxation over and above the general relaxation of five (5) years
available to them.
Selection Procedure of Department of Agricultural
Tripura Recruitment
√The Recruitment
process will comprise to two successive stages viz.
(i) Written Examination of 180 marks
(multiple choice type tests).
(ii) Interview/Personality test for 20
marks.
(iii) MCQ part-I: English and General Knowledge
including current affairs: 30 (OMR based MCQ type).
(iv) MCQ part-II: Agriculture: 150
(OMR based MCQ type).
(v) Interview/Personality Test: 20
Application Fee of Department of Agricultural Tripura Recruitment
(a) Group-B Gazetted Posts: Rs.250/-
only for General Candidates and Rs.150/- only for ST/SC/ BPL card
holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates.
(b) SC/ST candidates of other States
(not recognized by the Govt. of Tripura) should apply for unreserved vacancy as
general candidate along with recruitment fee prescribed for general candidates.
Recruitment fee so deposited is non-refundable.
How to Apply of Department of Agricultural Tripura Recruitment
√Candidates will have
to submit application through Online Application Portal only. The Commission
will not entertain any hard copy application. Before submission of online
application, read carefully the necessary instructions regarding filling up of
online application.

Application Portal will be available on Commission’s website from 02.03.2021 to
30.03.2021 (5.30 PM). Before applying for the post, an applicant shall register
his/her bio-data particulars through One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) on
the Commission’s website viz or through the link provided in www.tpsc.tripura.gov.in.
Once applicant registers his/her particulars, a User ID is generated and sent
to his/her registered mobile number and email ID. Applicants need to apply for
the post using the OTPR User ID through Commission’s website.
