Eligibility Criteria for NLU Assam
1. Professor of Law
- Ph.D. in relevant discipline with minimum 10 research publications.
- 10 years teaching/research experience in university or national institutions.
- OR outstanding professional with Ph.D. and 10 years’ experience.
2. Associate Professor of Law
- Ph.D. in relevant discipline with Master’s degree (55% marks).
- Minimum 8 years teaching/research experience.
- 7 publications in peer-reviewed/UGC listed journals.
3. Assistant Professor of Law
- Master’s degree with 55% marks in relevant subject.
- Must have NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D. as per UGC norms.
4. Assistant Professor of Political Science
- Master’s degree with 55% marks.
- NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D. as per UGC rules.
5. Finance Officer
- Master’s Degree in Finance (55%).
- 15 years’ experience in academic/administrative roles.
- CA qualification desirable.
6. Deputy Registrar (Academic)
- Master’s degree (55%).
- 9 years’ experience as Assistant Professor or 5 years as Assistant Registrar.
7. Administrative Officer
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 10 years administrative experience.
8. Junior Administrative Assistant
- Bachelor’s Degree with computer knowledge.
- 3 years’ experience in university/government office.
9. System Operator
- BCA/Diploma in Computer Science/DOEACC ‘A’ Level.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT systems.
