Teacher’s Recruitment Board Tripura (TRBT) will conduct Tripura Teachers’ Eligibility Test (T-TET) 2024 in two papers: Paper-I is for a person intending to be a teacher of class I to V and Paper-II is for a person intending to be a teacher of class VI to VIII. Tripura TET Recruitment 2025
1. Teacher (Class I-V)
Essential: (a) Bachelor Degree in Library Science from a recognized university OR (b) Graduate with one year Diploma in Library Science from a Recognised institution.
Desirable: Having Knowledge of Bengali or Kokborok NB: Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks will be allowed to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH category.
The following prescribed qualifications for T-TET Paper-I:Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or one year Diploma in Education up to academic session 2004-05) by whatever name known.ORSenior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education by whatever name known, in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002 (or one year Diploma in Education up to academic session 2004-05).ORSenior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.).ORSenior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).ORGraduation and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or one year Diploma in Education up to academic session 2004-05) by whatever name known.ORGraduation with at least 50 % marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.). (Further, a candidate having B. Ed. from any NCTE recognized institution with 50% marks in Graduation shall be considered for appointment as a teacher in classes I to V provided the person so appointed as a teacher shall mandatorily undergo a six-month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by NCTE, within two years of such appointment as primary teacher).
2. Teacher (Class VI-VIII)
Essential: (a) Bachelor Degree in Library Science from a recognized university OR (b) Graduate with one year Diploma in Library Science from a Recognised institution.
Desirable: Having Knowledge of Bengali or Kokborok NB: Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks will be allowed to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH category.
The following prescribed qualifications for T-TET Paper-II:-Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or one year Diploma in Education up to academic session 2004-05) by whatever name known.ORAt least 50% marks either in Graduation or Post-Graduation and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.).ORGraduation with at least 45% marks and Bachelor in Education (B. Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.ORSenior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).ORSenior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-years B.A./B. Sc. Ed or B.A. Ed/B.Sc.Ed.ORGraduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) (Special Education).
Other Details of Tripura TET 2025
1. Indian nationals residing in Tripura (having a Permanent Resident Certificate of Tripura) and having minimum academic and professional qualifications as specified in the NCTE Notifications dated 12 November, 2014, and as amended from time to time for appearing in the teachers' eligibility tests, can apply.
2. Test Centre: The time and duration of the test will be mentioned in the admit card. The test centre can be anywhere in Tripura.

Application Fee of Tripura TET 2025
The test fees for UR category applicants are Rs. 300/- (Rupees three hundred only), and for reserved category (SC/ST/PH) applicants, it is Rs. 200/- (Rupees two hundred only) for each paper of T-TET 2024. Fees once deposited will not be refunded or adjusted for any other test in the future.
