Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navaratna Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Defence, has released a recruitment notification for 56 posts of Field Operation Engineer (FOE) and Project Engineer-I on temporary basis. Salary
Field Operation Engineer (FOE): Rs. 60,000/- per month in the 1st year, increasing by Rs. 5,000 annually up to Rs. 80,000/- in the 5th year. Additional Benefits: Rs. 20,000/- per year for medical insurance, attire allowance, stitching charges, footwear allowance, etc. Project Engineer-I: Rs. 40,000/- per month in the 1st year, increasing by Rs. 5,000 annually during extensions. Additional Benefits: Rs. 12,000/- per year for insurance and other allowances.
Qualification
B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering (4-year course) or M.E./M.Tech/MCA in relevant disciplines. Eligible branches include Electronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, and related fields. FOE: Minimum 5 years relevant post-qualification experience. Project Engineer-I: Minimum 2 years relevant post-qualification experience. Experience in Networking, Data Centers, Database Administration, or similar industrial domains is required. Teaching, academic, or research work will not be considered as relevant experience.
Age Limit
Field Operation Engineer (FOE): Maximum 40 Years Project Engineer-I: Maximum 32 Years Age calculated as on 01 June 2026. Relaxation: 3 years for OBC (NCL), 5 years for SC/ST, and 10 years for PwBD candidates.
Application Fee
FOE: Rs. 450/- + 18% GST Project Engineer-I: Rs. 400/- + 18% GST SC/ST/PwBD candidates are exempted from fee payment.

How long is the contract period for these posts?

The initial tenure for both posts is three years. FOE posts may be extended up to 5 years, while Project Engineer-I posts may be extended up to 4 years based on project requirements and performance.

Can candidates apply for more than one post?

Yes. Candidates may apply for more than one post, but separate applications and fees must be submitted for each position.

Is prior industrial experience mandatory?

Yes. FOE candidates require 5 years of relevant experience, while Project Engineer-I candidates require 2 years of relevant industrial experience.

Where will the selection process be conducted?

The written test/interview process will be conducted in and around Delhi, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh.
