Eligibility Criteria for APPSC Recruitment
1. Junior Specialist (Allopathy)
Required Qualification:
- A recognized medical degree included in the First Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
- Postgraduate Degree (MD/MS or equivalent) in the relevant specialty as mentioned in the advertisement.
- Candidates (including Foreign Medical Graduates) must be registered with the Arunachal Pradesh Medical Council (APMC).
- Qualification must meet the provisions of the Indian Medical Council Act and Arunachal Pradesh Health Service Rules.
2. Junior Dental Specialist
Required Qualification:
- Dental qualification included in Part-I or Part-III of the Schedule of the Dentist Act, 1948.
- Postgraduate Degree (MDS or equivalent) in the concerned dental specialty.
- Candidates (including Foreign Dental Graduates) must be registered with the Arunachal Pradesh Dental Council (APDC).
- Qualification must be recognized under the Dentist Act and applicable Health Service Rules.
Age Limit
- The maximum age limit is 50 years as on the last date of online application submission (18 May 2026).
- Age relaxation of 5 years is applicable for Government Servants as per official notification.
- Additional age relaxation for PwBD candidates and other eligible categories will be applicable as per Government of Arunachal Pradesh rules.
Selection Process
- The selection will be done through Interview/Viva-Voce only as per Arunachal Pradesh Health Service Rules, 2000.
