Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 55 years as on 01.04.2026
- Retired teachers can apply up to 62 years
Educational Qualification
1. For TGT
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject.
- B.Ed. from a recognized institution.
- CTET/STET qualified.
- Proficiency in English medium teaching.
2. For PGT
- Master’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject
- B.Ed. degree
- CTET/STET qualified
- For Commerce, Accountancy & Business Studies must be studied at Graduation level
Salary
1. TGT
- With qualification: ₹33,000/- per month
- Without qualification: ₹29,000/- per month
2. PGT
- With qualification: ₹35,000/- per month
- Without qualification: ₹31,000/- per month

- District-level interview
- Final approval by Assam State Level EMRS Society
