Eligibility & Compensation
1. Qualifications
- Academic: MBBS Degree along with a PG Degree or Diploma (MD/MS/DNB/Diploma) in the relevant specialty from a recognized university.
- Registration: Must possess a valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or a State Medical Council (e.g., Assam Medical Council).
2. Age Limit (as per Govt. norms)
- Upper Age Limit: 45 years.
- Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates.
3. Salary Structure
- Pay Level: Level-11 of the Pay Matrix.
- Entry Pay: ₹67,700 per month + Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) and other Central Government allowances.
