LGBRIMH Tezpur Recruitment 2026: 16 Senior Resident Vacancies

The LGB Regional Institute of Mental Health (LGBRIMH), Tezpur, has announced vacancies for Senior Resident (SR) positions across several medical departments. This recruitment offers a prestigious opportunity for medical professionals in Assam under the Central Government pay scale.

Eligibility & Compensation

1. Qualifications

Academic: MBBS Degree along with a PG Degree or Diploma (MD/MS/DNB/Diploma) in the relevant specialty from a recognized university.
Registration: Must possess a valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or a State Medical Council (e.g., Assam Medical Council).

2. Age Limit (as per Govt. norms)

Upper Age Limit: 45 years.
Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates.

3. Salary Structure

Pay Level: Level-11 of the Pay Matrix.
Entry Pay: ₹67,700 per month + Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) and other Central Government allowances.

Important Dates & Selection Process

The selection will be conducted via a Hybrid Mode Interview (Online + Offline).

Interview Date: January 23, 2026 (from 10:30 AM onwards).

Reporting Time (Offline): 09:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

Interview Venue: MS Conference Hall, Administrative Building, LGBRIMH, Tezpur.

Note: Selected candidates are required to undergo mandatory training in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Biomedical Waste Management.
