Eligibility Criteria for APSSB CGLE 2026
1. Personal Assistant
- Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university
- Diploma in Stenography from a recognised institution.
2. Librarian
- Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university with Degree/Diploma in Library Science.
3. Upper Division Clerk (UDC)
- Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university.
- Minimum 6 (Six) months Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized Board/Institution duly recognized by the Arunachal Pradesh Council for Technical Education/AICTE.
4. JICS/JACS
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
Application Fee of APSSB CGLE 2026
A non-refundable application fee of ₹150 for APST candidates and ₹200 for Unreserved candidates must be paid online only.

Scheme of Exam for APSSB CGLE 2026
Scheme of Examination: The selection process will consist of two stages (Stage-1 and Stage-2).
Stage-1: Stenography Proficiency Test (only for Personal Assistant – Stenographer Grade-III).
- Dictation: 5 minutes at 80 words per minute (wpm).
- Transcription: 45 minutes in English on computer.
- Permissible mistakes: 8% for general candidates and 10% for APST candidates.
- Trial Passage: A trial passage will be provided before the test passage.
- Qualifying Nature: Stage-1 is qualifying only.
- Eligibility for Stage-2: Only candidates who qualify Stage-1 will appear for the written examination.
Stage-2: Objective type Written Examination for all posts.
- Total Marks: 200 marks.
- Exam Duration: 2 hours.
- Subjects: General Awareness – 50 marks.
- Subjects: General Intelligence & Reasoning – 50 marks.
- Subjects: Arithmetical & Numerical Ability – 50 marks.
- Subjects: English Language & Comprehension – 50 marks.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: Candidates must secure 33% aggregate marks in the written examination.
