Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Class X (Matriculation) pass or ITI or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or Institution for all post codes.
- Age Limit: 18 to 35 years as on 23 November 2026.
- Age Relaxation:
- APST Candidates: Upto 5 years.
- PwBD Candidates: Upto 15 years.
- Departmental Candidates: 5 years (with 3 years of continuous service).
- Ex-Servicemen: Deduct military service period from actual age plus 3 years relaxation.
- Uniform Eligibility Conditions:
- Permanent Residence: Must be a citizen of India holding a valid Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) of Arunachal Pradesh.
- Indigenous Status: Must be an original inhabitant of Arunachal Pradesh and hold an APST Certificate.
- Language Proficiency: Must be able to speak any of the Indigenous Tribal Languages of Arunachal Pradesh and possess working knowledge of local indigenous tribes.
Application Fee
- APST Candidates: ₹150/-
- PwBD Candidates: Exempted from payment of application fee.
- Payment Mode: Online only (through payment gateway on APSSB portal).

The recruitment will be conducted in a single stage written examination consisting of Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions:

- Qualifying Marks: Minimum 33% aggregate marks in the written examination paper.
- Negative Marking: No negative marking for wrong answers.
- Sectional Cut-off: No sectional (subject-wise) cut-off.
Examination Centres
Candidates must select 3 centres in order of preference from the following: Aalo, Bomdila, Changlang, Itanagar Capital Region, Khonsa, Namsai, Papum Pare, Pasighat, Seppa, Tawang, Tezu, and Ziro.

- Register yourself and fill in personal details, educational qualifications, and category details.
- Select your post preference order and choice of examination centres carefully.
- Upload scanned copies of your signature (10-50 kb) and recent passport photo (50-100 kb) in jpg/jpeg/png format.
- Pay the application fee of ₹150/- through online mode (if applicable).
- Submit the form and take a printout of the confirmation page for document verification.
