Principal
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Master Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) by a recognized University.
2. Ph.D. Degree in concerned/allied relevant discipline with evidence of published work and research guidance of the affiliating University.
3. Associate Professor/Professor with total experiences of 15 years of teaching/research/ administration in University college and other institution of Higher education.
4. A minimum 160 API score as stipulated in the academic performance indicator (API) based performance, based on appraisal in Appendix III required for direct recruitment of professor in college as per Govt. of Assam guideline.
5. A relaxation of 5% marks at Graduate and Master Degree level in both traditional and grade point system in admissible to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/differently abled category.
6. A relaxation of 5% is admissible from 55% to 50% of the marks to the Ph.D. Degree holder, who have obtained their Master Degree prior 19th September, 1991.
7. Upper age limit is 55 years.
8. The term of Principal shall be 5 years as per Assam College Employees (Provincialisation) (Amendment) Rules, 2017.
