AF School Shillong Recruitment Details
1. Headmistress (HM)
Eligibility Criteria:-
(i) Academic Qualification: Graduate Degree with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks from any University recognised by Govt of India/UGC/AICTE in any one of the subjects taught in Middle/Primary classes of the School (or Master’s Degree in any of the subjects taught in the School).
(ii) Professional Qualification: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Degree or its equivalent recognised by Govt of India/AICTE/UGC/NCTE.
(iii) Experience: Teaching experience of at least 2 years as a PGT/TGT/PRT or at least 3 years as NTT, or experience of at least 2 years as Principal/HM of an Air Force School.
(iv) Age Limit: 25 to 50 years as on 01 July of the academic year. (Age relaxation applicable for Women, PwD, Ex-Servicemen, and candidates with prior AF School service).
(v) Language: Should be able to read, write and communicate fluently in English.
2. TGT Sanskrit (Contractual)
Eligibility Criteria:-
(i) Master's or Bachelor's Degree from a recognised University with a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate and in Sanskrit as an elective subject at degree level.
(ii) Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Degree or equivalent from a recognised institution.
(iii) Age Limit: 21 to 50 years as on 01 July of the academic year (Relaxation applicable as per rules).
3. PRT - Primary Teacher (Contractual)
Eligibility Criteria:-
(i) Bachelor’s Degree from any University recognised by Govt of India/UGC/AICTE with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
(ii) Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Degree or its equivalent recognised by Govt of India/AICTE/UGC/NCTE.
(iii) Age Limit: 21 to 50 years as on 01 July of the academic year (Relaxation applicable as per rules).
(iv) Should be able to read, write and communicate fluently in English.
4. Accounts Assistant (Contractual)
Eligibility Criteria:-
(i) B.Com from a Govt recognised University with knowledge of accounts and book-keeping.
(ii) Typing speed of at least 40 wpm in English.
(iii) Basic knowledge of computer applications, especially MS Office.
(iv) Age Limit: 25 to 50 years as on 01 July of the academic year (Relaxation applicable as per rules).
(v) Ability to read, write and communicate fluently in English and Hindi.
5. Yoga Instructor (Part Time)
Eligibility Criteria: As per Air Force School norms/Education Code 2020.
Selection Process for AF School Shillong Recruitment
1. Written Test: 70 marks (Qualifying in nature; minimum 60% required to qualify). Exempted for candidates with at least 2 years teaching experience in AF Schools in the same category.
2. Teaching Aptitude Test: 130 marks (Minimum 80 marks required to qualify for interview).
3. Interview: 100 marks (Final stage assessing subject knowledge, communication ability, and co-curricular skills).
