Sikkim State Disaster Management Authority Recruitment 2022
Land Revenue & Disaster Management Department (LR&DMD) Employment notice from interested eligible candidates invited for filling up the following posts on purely contractual basis on consolidated salary for two Schemes (i) “Implementation of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction” and (ii) “Strengthening of District Disaster Management Authorities (DDMAs) of Hazard Prone Districts out of the 115 identified backward districts” respectively under Sikkim State Disaster Management Authority (SSDMA), LR&DMD for the period of 12 months (annual extension will be made till the completion of the project).
Sikkim State Disaster Management Authority (SSDMA), Government of Sikkim has announced a notification for the recruitment of 03 Sr. Consultant (Disaster Management), Consultant and Data Entry Operator (DEO) Vacancy. SSDMA Job Information Details 2022
1. Sr. Consultant
- No. of vacancy: 01 (One)
- Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in any discipline (preferably in Disaster Management, Social Work, Sociology, Geography, Agriculture, Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning).
- Experience: (a) Candidates should have minimum of 10 years experience in fields related to Disaster Management - Post Qualification. (b) Candidates having M.Phil Degree in the relevant field are required to have minimum experience of 08 years and candidates having PhD Degree in relevant field are required to have minimum experience of 05 years. (c) Candidates must also have reasonable experience in the field of preparation of Disaster Management Plans and Guidelines.
- Honorarium: 1 Lakh per month
- Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 65 years.
- Period of Employment: 12 months. Annual extension can be granted till the completion of the project Consultant may be removed any time by giving one month's notice or the consultant can also resign by giving one month’s notice to the competent authority. NDMA may recommend for termination of the contract if performance is found to be not satisfactory.
2. Consultant
- No. of vacancy: 01 (One)
- Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in any discipline (preferably in Disaster Management, Social Work, Sociology, Geography, Agriculture, Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning).
- Experience: Candidates should have minimum of 05 years Post Qualification experience in fields related to Disaster Management. Candidates having PhD in relevant field are required to have minimum post qualification experience of 03 years. Candidates must also have reasonable experience in the field of preparation of Disaster Management Plans and guidelines.
- Honorarium: Rs 70,000 per month.
- Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 65 years. Period of Employment: 12 months. Annual extension can be granted till the completion of the project. Consultant may be removed any time by giving one month’s notice or the consultant can also resign by giving one month’s notice to the competent authority. NDMA may recommend for termination of the contract if performance is found to be not satisfactory.
3. Data Entry Operator (DEO)
- No. of vacancy: 01 (One)
- Educational Qualification: (a) Graduate in any discipline (b) Typing speed of 40 wpm (c) Diploma/Certificate Course (1 year) in Computers. (d) Knowledge of MS Office Suite, Adobe Reader, etc.
- Experience: Minimum experience of 2 years in similar position.
- Honorarium: Rs 22,000/- month.
- Age Limit: Maximum of 35 years.
- Period of Employment: For a period of 12 month to be extended up to 24 months NDMA can remove the incumbent any time by giving one month’s notice or the incumbent can also resign by giving one month’s notice to NDMA.
