3. Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements to apply for APPSC TGT Recruitment 2026:

• Applicant must have a Second-Class Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Science, or Commerce from a recognized university with the relevant subject studied in all years/semesters of the degree program.
• Graduation in one subject and Post Graduation in another subject will not be considered eligible for the respective TGT post.
• Candidate must possess a B.Ed (General) degree from an NCTE recognized institution.
• B.Ed (Special Education) is not accepted as an alternative qualification for TGT (Secondary) posts.
• The minimum duration of B.Ed course is 2 years, including mandatory teaching internship. However, candidates who completed 1-year B.Ed before 2015 are also eligible.
• Candidates who completed a 4-year Integrated Degree with B.Ed (General) are eligible if they meet subject requirements.
• Candidates appearing in the final year/semester of Graduation or B.Ed are not eligible to apply.
• Each candidate can apply for only one TGT subject post.

4. Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: 35 years
• Age will be calculated as on 27 April 2026
