Qualification for NIMSR Kohima Recruitment
(i) Professor
Qualification: MD/MS/DNB in the concerned subject.
Experience:
# As Associate Professor in concerned subject for three years in a permitted/recognized medical college/institution.
# Should have at least four Research publications (at least two as Associate Professor) [only original papers, meta-analysis, systematic reviews, and case series that are published in journals indexed in Medline, PubMed, Central Science Citation Index, Science Citation Index, Expanded Embase, Scopus, Directory of Open Access Journals (DoAJ) will be considered].
# Should have completed the basis course in Medical Education Technology from Institutions designated by NMC.
(ii) Associate Professor
Qualification: MD/MS/DNB in the concerned subject.
Experience:
# As Assistant Professor in concerned subject for four years in a permitted/recognized medical college/institution.
# Should have at least two Research publications [only original papers, meta-analysis, systematic reviews, and case series that are published in journals included in Medline, PubMed, Central Science Citation Index, Science Citation Index, Expanded Embase, Scopus, Directory of Open Access Journals (DoAJ) will be considered]
# Should have completed the basic course in Medical Education Technology from Institutions designated by NMC.
# Should have completed the basic course in Biomedical Research.
(iii) Assistant Professor
Qualification: MD/MS/DNB in the concerned subject.
Experience: Special training for three years in concerned subject in a teaching Institution/ Centre of Excellence with dedicated service in that specialty.
(iv) Senior Resident (Medical Postgraduate) and Tutors as per NMC Rules.
Qualification: MD/MS/DNB in the concerned subject for Senior Resident and for Tutor as per NMC Rules.
Experience:
# Senior Resident is one who is doing his/her residency in the concerned subject after obtaining Medical Postgraduate degree (MD/MS/DNB).
# Non-medical Postgraduates with M.Sc. (Medical) degree shall be called Tutors in respective departments in which M.Sc. has been done.
# The posts of tenured Senior Residents and Tutors are not faculty positions.
# All other designations practiced earlier stands deleted.
Age limit for NIMSR Kohima Recruitment
# The maximum age limit for Regular appointment in case of Teaching Faculty positions:-
a) Professor shall be 64 years
b) Associate Professor shall be 64 years
c) Assistant Professor shall be 50 years
# The maximum age limit for contractual engagement in case of Teaching Faculty position shall be 69 years of age which may be further extended by the Society till 70 years.
# The maximum age limit for Senior Residency shall be 45 years.
# The maximum age limit for Tutor shall be 45 years.
# For Government servants, age limit for appointment shall be relaxable by 5 years.

# Eligible candidates are prescribed application form (Annexure-I) and all required information.
# Scanned copy in PDF format of the duly filled application form along with necessary supporting documents to be submitted through email to nimsrkohima@gmail.com on or before 31.10.2022. Application submitted/received after the last date of submission shall be rejected without any intimation to be candidate.
# The following supporting documents should be submitted with application form.
a) One recent passport size photograph duly attested and firmly pasted at the appropriate place on the application form.
b) Attested copies of certificates and testimonials in support of proof of age, education qualification, experience, publications etc.
c) Scanned copy of each of the Research publications in conformity with NMC norms.
d) Those candidates who are employed in Govt./Semi Govt./Autonomous bodies or private establishments shall submit NOC from the employer.
e) Selected candidate shall submit acceptance or refusal letter within 7 days of notification of the final result.
