Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 02 posts of Bio-Medical Engineer, Group-A Gazetted, under the Health and Family Welfare Department (HFWD), Government of Tripura. Eligible candidates may apply online from 15th May to 17th June 2025.

Bio-Medical Engineer
No. of Posts: 02 [UR: 01 & ST: 01]
Essential: (i) Degree in Bio-Medical Engineering or Biomedical Instrumentation from a recognized university/institute. (ii) Minimum 5 years of work experience in the field, including at least 1 year in a government organization. (iii) PRTC (Permanent Resident of Tripura Certificate) is required as per Notification No.F.23(8)-GA(P&T)/2023 dated 07-07-2023.
Desirable: Knowledge of Bengali or Kokborok language.
Pay Scale: Pre-revised PB-4 ₹15,600–39,100 with Grade Pay ₹5,400.
Age Limit: Maximum 40 years as on 17-06-2025. Relaxable by 5 years for ST, SC, PwD, and in-service Govt. employees. No additional relaxation for ST/SC/PwD Govt. employees beyond the standard 5 years.
Application Fee
- Group-A Gazetted posts: ₹400 for General candidates; ₹350 for ST/SC/BPL/PH candidates.
- Recruitment fee is non-refundable.
- Incomplete applications or without the required fee will be rejected.
- The Commission’s decision on eligibility is final.
- Document assessment by the Commission is final and not subject to external review.
How to Apply?
- Applications accepted online only; no hard copies.
- Portal open 22-05-2025 to 17-06-2025 (5:30 PM) at tpsc.tripura.gov.in.
- New users must register via OTPR to get a User ID.
- Apply using the OTPR User ID.
- Submit only one complete application; latest one will be considered if multiples are submitted.
