MPSC Shillong Recruitment 2025 – Details
1. Assistant Soil & Water Conservation Officer (AS&WCO)
- No. of posts: 19 [UR: 03, KJ: 08, Garo: 07 & OSTs/SCs: 01]
- Department: Soil and Water Conservation Department.
- Pay scale: Level 15 of Revised Pay Structure.
- Age limit: Age will be calculated with reference to 01.01.2025 and should have attained the age of 18 yrs to 32 yrs. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST.
2. Mechanic Motor Vehicle (M.V) Instructor
- No. of posts: 04 [UR: 01, KJ: 01 & Garo: 02]
- Department: Directorate of Employment & Craftsmen Training, Department of Labour, Employment & Skill Development.
- Pay scale: Level 11 of Revised Pay Structure.
- Age limit: Age will be calculated with reference to 01.01.2025 and should have attained the age of 18 yrs to 32 yrs. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST.
3. Electrician Instructor
- No. of posts: 02 [KJ: 01 & Garo: 01]
- Department: The Directorate of Employment & Craftsmen Training, Department of Labour Employment & Skill Development.
- Pay scale: Level 11 of Revised Pay Structure.

MPSC Shillong Recruitment 2025 – Eligibility
1. Assistant Soil & Water Conservation Officer (AS&WCO)
a) Non-Engineering Background: “Must have completed the basic course of Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/Forestry from recognized University and its equivalent.” OR “Hold a certificate in Soil and Water Conservation/Graduate Assistant/Ranger Training Course from the Training Centers conducted by or recognized by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) or the Government of Meghalaya with at least 5 years field experience in Soil and Water Conservation.”
b) Engineering Background: Must have completed the basic course of B.E/B. Tech. in Civil Engineering/ Agriculture Engineering/Water Resource Engineering from recognized University.
2. Mechanic Motor Vehicle (M.V) Instructor
Essential: 3 (three) years Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering from any recognized Polytechnic/Institution.
3. Electrician Instructor
Essential: 3 (Three) years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from any recognized Polytechnic/Institution.
MPSC Shillong Recruitment 2025 – Exam Fee
- Post at Sl. No. 01: ₹460. SC/ST (Permanent residents of Meghalaya): ₹230 (Half the rate).
- Posts at Sl. No. 02 & 03: ₹350. SC/ST (Permanent residents of Meghalaya): ₹175 (Half the rate).
