Post Name: Security Officer (SO)

No. of posts: 38 [SC: 05, ST: 02, OBC: 10, EWS: 03 & UR: 18]

☑ Educational Qualification:

# Mandatory: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university or institute.
 
# Preferable: A certification in a computer course for a minimum of three months OR information technology or a related paper as one of the subjects at graduation level or afterwards is preferable.

☑ Scale of Pay: Rs. 48170 x 1740 (1)-49910x1990 (10)-69810/-

☑ Age limit: 25 to 35 years as on 01.01.2024.

Application Fee of BOB SO


i. Application fees and intimation charges (non-refundable) of Rs. 600/- for general, EWS, and OBC candidates (plus applicable GST and transaction charges) and Rs. 100/- (intimation charges only) for SC, ST, and women candidates (plus applicable GST and transaction charges) will be applicable. The bank is not responsible if any of the candidates make more than one payment, and no request for a refund of fees shall be entertained.

ii. Fee payments will have to be made online through the payment gateway available thereat.

iii. After ensuring the correctness of the particulars of the application form, candidates are required to pay fees through the payment gateway integrated with the application. No changes or edits will be allowed thereafter.

iv. The payment can be made by using a debit card, credit card, internet banking, etc. by providing information as asked on the screen. Transaction Charges for online payment, if any, will be borne by the candidates.

v. On successful completion of the transaction, an e-receipt and application form with the data entered by the candidate will be generated, which should be printed and retained by the candidate.

vi. If the online transaction is not successfully completed, please register again and make the payment online.

vii. There is also a provision to reprint the application form containing fee details at a later stage.

Selection Procedure for BOB SO


# The selection process may comprise an online test, a psychometric test, or any other test deemed suitable for further selection, followed by a group discussion and/or interview of candidates who qualify for the online test.

# However, if the number of eligible applications received is large or less, the bank reserves the right to change the shortlisting criteria or interview process. The bank may, at its discretion, consider conducting multiple-choice, descriptive, psychometric tests, group discussions, interviews, or any other selection or shortlisting methodology for the above position.

iii. Candidates need to upload their biodata while filling out the online application. Candidates are also required to upload their scanned photograph, signature, and other documents related to their eligibility. Please refer to Annexure I regarding the scanning of photographs and signatures and the upload of documents.

iv. Candidates are advised to carefully fill in the online application themselves, as no change in any of the data filled in the online application will be possible or entered. Prior to submission of the online application, candidates are advised to verify the details in the online application form and modify the same if required. No change is permitted after clicking on the SUBMIT button.

v. The name of the candidate should be spelled correctly in the application as it appears in the certificates and mark sheets. Any change or alteration found may disqualify the candidacy.

vi. Candidates shall also be required to submit supporting documents such as Date of Birth Proof, Graduation/Mandatory Qualification Certificate(s), Other Certifications, Experience Letter, Document showing Breakup of CTC, Latest Salary Slips, etc. at the time of submitting the online application form.

vii. Please note that all the particulars mentioned in the online application, including the name of the candidate, category, date of birth, post applied for, address, mobile number, email ID, center of examination, etc., will be considered final and no changes or modifications will be allowed after submission of the online application form. Candidates are hence requested to fill out the online application form with the utmost care, as no correspondence regarding changes of details will be entertained.
