Eligibility Criteria for DME Meghalaya
1. Assistant Professor
- MD/MS/DNB/DM/M.Ch. in the concerned subject from NMC/MCI recognized medical college.
- Permanent registration with Central/Meghalaya State Medical Council.
- 1-year Senior Residency after MD/MS (not required for DM/M.Ch./DNB holders).
- Must be a serving Medical Officer/Specialist under the Health & Family Welfare Department, Meghalaya.
2. Senior Resident
- Postgraduate medical degree (MD/MS/DNB) in the relevant subject.
3. Tutor/Demonstrator
- MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution.
4. Professor
- Associate Professor with 3 years’ experience in a recognized medical institution.
- At least 2 research publications after becoming Associate Professor.
- Must complete Basic Course in Biomedical Research and Medical Education.
5. Associate Professor
- Assistant Professor with 4 years’ experience (or 5 years if directly appointed in Govt. medical institution).
- At least 2 research publications after becoming Assistant Professor.
- Must complete Basic Course in Biomedical Research and Medical Education.
