Essential Qualification

Course: Full Time Regular Course in B.E./B.Tech/B. Sc (Engg.)/IDD (Integrated Dual Degree) from recognized University/Institute.

Discipline: Electrical/Electrical (Power)/Electrical and Electronics/Power Systems Engineering/ Power Engineering (Electrical).

Percentage of Mark: Minimum 65% or Equivalent CGPA.

Selection Process

The Selection Process consists of marks obtained (out of 100) in the Electrical Engineering (EE) paper of GATE-2025, Group Discussion (GD) & Personal Interview (PI). Eligible candidates will have to appear in the Electrical Engineering (EE) paper of GATE-2025.

Candidates qualified in the Electrical Engineering (EE) paper of GATE-2025 shall be eligible to be considered for the next stage of selection. Qualifying marks in GATE-2025 shall be as decided by GATE-2025 Organizing Institute.

Qualified candidates shall be short-listed category-wise for Group Discussion & Personal Interview based on their normalized marks out of 100 in corresponding paper of GATE-2025 i.e. Electrical Engineering (EE). Candidates shall obtain information about their status through their candidate login at GRID-INDIA’s Online Application System. Shortlisted candidates shall be able to download their Group Discussion & Personal Interview call letter and other relevant documents through the candidate login.
