Eligibility Criteria
1. Executive Trainee (Electrical)
- GATE Paper: EE – GATE 2027
- Qualification: Full-time B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. Engg./IDD in Electrical-related disciplines.
- Marks: Minimum 65% or equivalent CGPA; relaxation for SC/ST/PwBD. Final-year students eligible if results are expected by 14.08.2027.
- Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 31.07.2027; born on or after 01.08.1999.
2. Executive Trainee (Computer Science)
- GATE Paper: CS – GATE 2027
- Qualification: Full-time B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. Engg./IDD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or IT.
- Marks: Minimum 65% or equivalent CGPA; relaxation for SC/ST/PwBD. Final-year students eligible if results are expected by 14.08.2027.
- Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 31.07.2027; born on or after 01.08.1999.
Remuneration
Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be placed at the E2 level in the pay scale of ₹50,000–1,60,000/- (IDA) for a 1-year On-the-Job Training (OJT) period. Upon regularization, compensation includes Basic Pay, DA, HRA/Company accommodation, PRP, medical facilities, loans, and other allowances.
Application Fee
1. General, OBC (NCL), and EWS candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of ₹500/- online.
2. SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, and Departmental candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.
3. Application fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

Selection Process for GRID-INDIA ET
1. Candidates must qualify in GATE 2027 in Electrical (EE) or Computer Science (CS) paper. Only GATE 2027 scores are valid (GATE 2026 or prior scores are invalid).
2. Shortlisted candidates based on normalized marks out of 100 in GATE 2027 will be invited for Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interview (PI), and Behavioral Assessment.
3. Qualifying marks in Personal Interview: 40% for UR/EWS and 30% for OBC (NCL)/SC/ST/PwBD. GD has no qualifying marks.
4. Weightage for Final Merit List:
- GATE 2027 Marks (out of 100): 85%
- Group Discussion (GD): 3%
- Personal Interview (PI): 12%
- Total Score: 100%
