Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the P&E Mizoram Electrician vacancy, you must meet the following conditions:
Educational Qualification:
- HSLC (Class 10) passed or equivalent.
- Trade Certificate: 2-year Electrician Trade Course from a Government-recognized institute (ITI).
Computer Qualification: Course on Computer Concepts (CCC) from NIELIT or equivalent (minimum 80 hours).
Language Proficiency: * Candidates must pass a Mizo Language Proficiency test.
- Exemption: If you studied Mizo in Class-X (HSLC) or above, you are exempt from this test.
Age Limit: 18 to 35 years as of the last date of application. (Standard government relaxations apply for SC/ST/OBC).
Application Fee
Payment must be made during the submission of the application form:
- General Category: ₹200/-
- ST/SC/OBC Category: ₹150/-
How to Apply (Offline)
The application process is entirely offline. Follow these steps:
Obtain Form: Collect the application form from the Establishment Branch, Engineer-in-Chief's Office, P&E Department, Aizawl. (Forms are available from Dec 8, 2025).
Fill Details: Fill in the required personal and technical details.
Attach Documents: Attach self-attested copies of:
- Birth Certificate/HSLC Certificate (for age proof).
- ITI Electrician Trade Certificate.
- Computer Proficiency Certificate (CCC).
- Caste Certificate (if applicable).
