Eligibility by Post
Driver
- Qualification: Class VIII passed.
- Licence: Valid Professional Driving Licence from the concerned DTO.
- Test: Driving Test and Medical Eye Check-up are required.
Peon
- Qualification: Minimum Class VII passed.
Cleaner
- Qualification: Minimum Class VII passed.
- Test: Practical Efficiency Test is mandatory and qualifying in nature.
Chowkidar
- Qualification: Minimum Class VII passed.
Age Limit & Relaxation
- General Age: 18 to 32 years as on 1 January 2026.
- SC/ST: 5 years upper-age relaxation.
- PwBD: Relaxation as per the applicable Meghalaya Government rules.
- Government Employees: No upper age limit, subject to the prescribed conditions and NOC.
MSPSDC Selection Process
There will be no personal interview for these posts. Candidates will be shortlisted through the written examination, followed by the required qualifying practical or skill test.
- Written Examination: 12 September 2026
- Driver: Driving Test and eye check-up
- Cleaner: Practical Efficiency Test
- Document Verification: Original documents will be checked at the prescribed stage.
