Eligibility Criteria
- Junior Research Officer: Graduate in Science with Botany/Zoology/Physics/Chemistry/ Environmental Science from a recognized University/Institute.
- Junior Accountant: Graduate in Science/Arts/Commerce from a recognized University/Institute.
- L.D.C./Office Assistant: Graduate who has completed a Course on Computer Concepts (CCC) (DOS + Windows + MS Office + Multimedia + Internet) from a recognized Central/State Institute.
- Laboratory Assistant: H.S.S.L.C. (10+2) or its equivalent passed from a recognized University/ Institute.
- Field Assistant: H.S.S.L.C. (10+2) or intermediate or its equivalent passed from a recognized Institute/Board.
- Driver: Class-X/Matriculate/H.S.L.C. or equivalent passed with 3 years driving experience and a valid driving licence.
- Grade-IV/Mali: Class-X/Matriculate/H.S.L.C. or its equivalent passed from a recognized University/Institute.
2. Domicile & Language: The candidate must be a citizen of India and a permanent resident of Manipur, proficient in Manipuri, Hindi, English, or any notified ST dialect of Manipur.
3. Employment Exchange: Candidates must be sponsored through the concerned Employment Exchange, Government of Manipur.
4. Age Limit: 18 to 38 years as on 16 October 2026. Upper age relaxation is 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and as per rules for Government servants.

Selection Process & Syllabus
- Selection will be based strictly on a Written Test (no negative marking, 3-hour duration, 100 MCQs carrying 100 marks).
- For Graduate Level Posts (JRO & Junior Accountant): General Intelligence & Reasoning (25 marks), General Knowledge (25 marks), Quantitative Aptitude (25 marks), English Language (25 marks).
- Special Paper for Junior Research Officer: An additional separate written paper consisting of 100 MCQs on Environment & Climate Change related issues (100 marks, 3 hours).
- For Class-XII & Class-X Posts (Lab Asst, Field Asst, Driver, Mali): General Knowledge (50 marks), Basic Mathematics (25 marks), English Language (25 marks).
- For LDC/Office Assistant: General English, Precis Writing, Drafting & Essay (100 marks, 3 hrs), General Knowledge (50 marks, 1.5 hrs), and Computer Practical (50 marks, 1.5 hrs) with 30% qualifying marks each.
