Vacancy Details & Educational Qualifications
Note: Candidates can apply for only one unit/location and against one post/discipline.
- Tradesman Trainee (Fitter) – 93 Posts: ITI/NAC in Fitter trade with 2 years of experience.
- Tradesman Trainee (Electrician) – 12 Posts: ITI/NAC in Electrician trade, a valid statutory licence, and 2 years of experience.
- Tradesman Trainee (Instrumentation) – 6 Posts: ITI/NAC in Instrumentation trade with 2 years of experience.
- Tradesman Trainee (Attendant Operator Chemical Plant) – 20 Posts: ITI/NAC in Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant) OR +2 Science with Chemistry (Min. 50%), with 2 years of experience in process industry operation.
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 35 years (as of November 9, 2026)
- Age Relaxations: 3 years for OBC (NCL), 5 years for SC/ST, and up to 10 years for PwBD candidates. The maximum age after all relaxations cannot exceed 50 years.
Salary and Pay Scale
- During Training: 1-year training period with a consolidated stipend of Rs. 34,200/- per month.
- Upon Absorption: Candidates may be absorbed in the W-3 Grade (Rs. 22,000 - 88,000/-). Approximate CTC will be Rs. 6.5 lakhs per annum.
Selection Process
- Computer Based Test (CBT): A 2-hour exam consisting of 100 Professional Knowledge questions and 50 General Knowledge/Aptitude questions. No negative marking.
- Skill Test: Candidates qualifying the CBT will be called for a qualifying Trade Test/Computer Proficiency Test in a 1:5 ratio.

- SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen/Women/Internal Candidates: INR 354/- (Processing fee only)
